Amigos -Took a few minutes on Sunday and checked out the Paddle for the Polar Bears (nice video at this link) at Lake Wingra in Madison. A very cool event sponsored by Paddle Board Specialists in Madison to raise money for Vilas Park Zoo. For a small donation of $15.00 I got a lesson and chance to try some stand up paddling. Very cool and a great workout. My wheels are already spinning - trying to figure out just how to fish from this vantage point. This was the first in a series of challenge events being held this summer. A very cool way to get on the water.
Hmm, maybe the Buddha needs a new water toy!
