Dallas Front Row: "River Why Oh Why"

A lukewarm review for The River Why from the Dallas Front Row following the premiere at the Dallas Film Festival. Oh well the early reviews seem to indicate beautiful scenery and fishing scenes - not so much on the other elements. Oh well. The Amber Heard factor should insure distribution.

I think three posts in a row dedicated to movies is about enough; time to move away from the film festival circuit and back to the fish! I still hold to my belief - interest in fly fishing no matter where it comes from equals more money for resource preservation. That is why I'm pulling for The River Why. If only the written word could generate such interest. We would be hip deep in anglers if enough people read Ted Leeson or Harry Middleton. What the hell, if this movie doesn't hit the mark maybe it will at least get more people to read the book.

Tight lines amigos,
